There are so many things to see and do while you are staying at Davis Camp. Here are just a few samples of the available opportunities:
Casinos
Look up from almost any location in Davis Camp and you will see the casino skyline of Laughlin, Nevada. Located just minutes away, you can enjoy the fun and excitement of Nevada style, round the clock gaming. Ten casinos located on Casino Drive provide hours of excitement, name entertainment and inexpensive dining.
Lake Mead National Recreation Area
If lakes are more to your liking, visit the National Park Service's Katherine Landing - the southern gateway of Lake Mohave. Restaurants, marinas, houseboat rentals and more await you. Located just 7 minutes north of Davis Camp.
Ghost Town of Oatman
If you like to poke around in the cobwebs of the past, try the old mining town of Oatman on historic Route 66 where burros parade the main street looking for handouts and gunfighters recreate shoot-outs of the Wild West.
Colorado River Museum
In 1986 the Colorado River Historical Society (a nonprofit organization) took control of the old Catholic Church of Davis Camp and converted it into a local museum. Housed in the museum are memorabilia that interprets the history of Bullhead City, Laughlin, Davis Dam, and the surrounding area. There is a small fee for entry into the museum and visitors are always welcome. Stop by to learn about the history of our area. Information on the museum can also be found at www.coloradorivermuseum.org.
