Beaches
For fun in the sun or just relaxing by the water's edge, Davis Camp offers some of the finest beaches on the Colorado River. Equipped with picnic ramadas, tables, barbecue grills and an outdoor shower, it is the perfect place to get together with family and friends. Caution: Swim at your own risk. Please be aware that no lifeguards are on duty and swimmers will likely encounter swift currents and deep, cold water. Located in a backwater cove safe from the swift current at the South Beach section of the park there is a swimming area intended for the younger ones. Soft sand, shallower water and no boats or currents make it an ideal place for children. Parents can watch or join their children while enjoying a safe swimming experience. Another great place for the kids is at our playground complete with jungle gym, swings and a large sandbox. It is located near the RV Park for convenience and safety. |
