The mission of Mohave County Parks is to provide quality park facilities and outdoor recreational opportunities for the residents of Mohave County, to actively participate with agencies, organizations and groups in bettering the recreational needs of Mohave County citizens, and to be as self-supporting as possible without placing a burden on the taxpayers.  We accomplish this by providing superior customer care and expanded services to keep pace with the changing recreational demands of our guests. 

Our staff provides facilities for camping, RV hook-ups, rental cabins, vacation homes, hiking, picnicking, boating, fishing, group meetings, ATV trails, playgrounds, ballfields and swim beaches plus more.  Service is what sets us apart from the competition and we make every attempt to accommodate specific visitor needs to ensure a pleasant experience.  Our parks vary from the SO HOT cactus of the low desert to SO COOL pines of mountain peaks. It should be noted that the Mohave County Parks Department is funded entirely from user fees and receives no financial support from taxes.  This means that our focus is on providing pleasant experiences for our guests to ensure continued prosperity for our parks.
